Don't talk in a restaurant on your cell

Rule #3:
Other people go to restaurants to have a nice meal, free from every day distractions. Don't intrude on their good time by talking on your cell phone. If you need to receive phone calls, put the phone on vibrate and go to the lobby or outside to return the call.

A restaurant is not your kitchen or livingroom. Be nice to people who are paying for their meal.

Use the vibrate feature

Rule # 2:
We are inundated with buzzers, bells, rings, horns, sirens, etc. etc. etc... We have survived for centuries without a phone strapped to us. Turn off your ringer and use the vibrate feature. No excuses, if you are going to use the technology, read the directions!

I don't think your ringtone is cute just because you do.

Not your personal phone booth

Rule # 1:
Please know this, being on your cellphone does not mean you are in your own personal phone booth. If the person on the other end of the conversation was sitting next to you, you wouldn't be shouting at them. It's rude.

Be considerate of the people around you.
